Course Completion Progress Tracker
Track your course completion percentage, estimated time to finish, and daily study pace needed to meet your deadline.
Formulas Used
Completion Percentage:
Completion % = (Lessons Completed ÷ Total Lessons) × 100
Time Remaining:
Time Remaining = (Total Lessons − Lessons Completed) × Avg Time per Lesson
Required Daily Study Time:
Required Daily Time = Time Remaining ÷ Days Until Deadline
Total Available Study Time:
Total Available Time = Days Until Deadline × Daily Study Time
Surplus / Deficit:
Surplus/Deficit = Total Available Time − Time Remaining
(Positive = buffer time; Negative = shortfall)
Projected Days to Finish:
Projected Days = Time Remaining ÷ Daily Study Time
Pace Efficiency Score:
Efficiency = (Daily Study Time ÷ Required Daily Time) × 100
(≥ 100% means on track; < 100% means behind schedule)
Assumptions & References
- All lessons are assumed to take the same average duration for estimation purposes.
- Study time is assumed to be consistent every day until the deadline.
- The deadline is treated as a hard cutoff; no buffer days are added automatically.
- A Pace Efficiency Score ≥ 100% indicates the learner can finish on time at their current pace.
- Methodology aligned with self-paced learning frameworks referenced in Bloom's mastery learning model and MOOCs completion research (e.g., Coursera learner analytics studies).
- Time estimates do not account for review sessions, quizzes, or assignments unless included in the average lesson time.
